took some thinking but i finally realized where the nest boxes should be to allow easy access for egg collection. counterintuitively between the windows is actually one of the darker spots in the coop.

nail and hammer braces built from chestnut took a lot longer to install, but again, wanting to historically preserve the barn was worth it.

Installation complete, and now to fill with straw for bedding (since i already had it for insulation) and add some ceramic eggs.
