SKILL SHARES 2025!

Soil Health and Agroecology at UVM. I’m still using the soil mapping skills I learned there.

Zine-Making for Farmers at Bottomless Well. This was such a sweet, fun, gathering. VT Releaf Collective is now known as Liberation Ecosystem.

Diaspora Herbalism at Ezili’s Respite. Everyone went home with some beautifully crafted wild medicine.

And in honor of the Spiritual Significance of Slaughter of the goat wether Dongles, a really sacred ceremony and offerings left to the earth. In the blood, before buried, participants spread tobacco, white pine needles, a sprig of mint and red berries.

These skill shares occurred with massive amounts of community support, planned by the Agrarian Cohort for Liberation Ecosystem with funding by NOFA-VT and Cultivemos, prior to its disbanding under the current administration.

2025 is the second year of these skill shares running and they build community and camaraderie in such a major way.

If yr interested in getting involved, please email stewards@ezilis-respite.org.
