i recently attended a virtual workshop with Soul Fire Farm and Darren LeBaron on Ethnomycology in Africa and Diaspora. while the name Terrance McKenna is well known for “Food of the Gods”, i had never encountered the teachings of Kilindi lyi. furthermore, despite my own naming, i didn’t realize the importance of The Egyptian Book of the Dead to mycology.
