got our platform whistles wet with the deck and now it’s on to the next.

i must admit that site prep was not my favorite activity – had to dig out a fair amount of bird cherry and bushes to even get a reasonable working area.

Thanks to a grant from Sky High Farm, we’re installing our Harm Reduction Heroes Yurt for land-based programming. The 25 ft platform is an undertaking.

Thanks to New Suns, a project with NEFOC, we were able to borrow some much needed tools and equipment to manage 4x8x12 green hemlock beams and working up in the field with portable power.

Stay tuned for updates for when we’re actually able to pitch the yurt structure itself. Rain is making that look edgy for this season. If so, early next season pitch and party!

Also, this guy below has been spending time in the back field with us and his recall has gotten to be excellent.
