So begins the Micro-dairy

Thanks to a Working Lands grant, we’ve been able to start installation of our on farm micro-dairy facility.

Gravel foundation is working. Thank goodness for delivery but we did have to grade the daggone thing manually.

We have a table top system, 3 4-gallon vats. Took some time getting the equipment due to tariffs and manufacturing but we are excited about the MicroDairy Design thus far.

We lost the sheds to the craigslist void last winter and so when they rolled around again we got ours reserved and delivered! Two 8x10 sheds. One for processing, one for milking. I’ll spare you the details of my grey water system for now.
