sometimes the universe delivers manifestations of desires. i was at a friend’s and an offfhanded comment about resucuing a goat just jumpstarted the goat operation we had in mind.

he wasn’t happy where he was and would yell all the time. (straight up sounds like a dude yelling “heeeeeyyyy!!!!” across the mountain.) he needs attention but he likes his new shed, and loves the available forage. pics to come.
his horns are not a joke but understanding goat blind spots and natural herd movement have helped deter that. plus he’s sweet. i stay reading.




he was into Titan’s belt from the time we met him. my understanding is that changes in speed, vibrations and start/stop can all change the rumen cycles and hormones of a goat.
